Abstract

The object of this research is investigation of the effect of the HISTORICAL-CULTURAL TOURISM on STABLE URBAN DEVELOPMENT of Hamedan. The present research is a field study, the method of research is survey and in attention to its goal is an applied study. Hamedan is an attractive pole of the TOURISM for tourists. The results has shown that the HISTORICAL-CULTURAL TOURISM acts as the most effective TOURISM in the attraction of the tourists to Hamedan but it has not been had an effective action in the extension of the urban foundation. TOURISM has been affected on morphology of city, physical development, socioeconomic changes and natural environment. Despite of increasing of income of some regions but the TOURISM has not had a suitable action in the equalizing of the attraction of the tourist in the different season. Then, we can result that Hamadan is a most capable regions of TOURISM because it is an ancient city and has historical valuable buildings. Hamedan has a good weather and valuable natural resources such as Ghare Ali Sadr. If we use of all the TOURISM capacity and potential of this province, the TOURISM industry definitely is effective on STABLE URBAN DEVELOPMENT of Hamedan.
