Abstract

Islam is a religion of eternal universality, and it is not immune to those who seek to extinguish its light since the honorable Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) brought it. However, God promised the immortality and eternity of His religion and entrusted Himself to protect it from the attempts of unbelievers and polytheists to diminish its light and fame. He made the messengers, prophets, and saints the guardians of this religion. Departing from this religion or straying from its principles, rules, conditions, and laws does not harm its essence, value, status, or reputation. This article provides a descriptive and analytical study of Verse 54 of Surat Al-Ma’idah. Surely, Almighty Allah will replace the apostates and deviants from His religion with better individuals, ensuring the victory of the religion in their hands. He attributes this replacement to Himself by stating "God will bring a people," signifying that this religion has a supporter who requires no assistance from anyone else, and that supporter is God, glorified be His name.Undoubtedly, this victory will endure eternally. The supporters of this religion possess five qualities: love for Almighty Allah, compassion towards believers and Muslims, firmness against unbelievers, jihad in the path of God, and resilience against criticism. Among these individuals, groups, or movements who uphold the victories of this religion is the Iranian Islamic Revolution, which stands as the most significant example of credibility in our era. All five characteristics are attributed to the Iranian Islamic Revolution, supported by the perspectives of scholars, intellectuals, and thinkers.
