Abstract

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between job stress, resilience, and job security among pregnant working women in Tehran. Methods and Materials: A descriptive-correlational design was employed with a sample of 384 pregnant working women selected using Cochran’s formula and purposive sampling in District 7 of Tehran. Data were collected using the Cooper Job Stress Questionnaire, the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, and the Neil Job Security Scale. Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression analyses were conducted using SPSS version 27. Findings: The results revealed a significant negative correlation between job stress and both resilience (r =-0. 57, p < 0. 01) and job security (r =-0. 49, p < 0. 01). Multiple regression analysis showed that resilience (β =-0. 44, p < 0. 01) and job security (β =-0. 35, p < 0. 01) were significant predictors of job stress. The final model accounted for37% of the variance in job stress. Conclusion: The findings suggest that higher levels of resilience and perceived job security are associated with lower levels of job stress among pregnant working women. Interventions aimed at enhancing resilience and promoting job security can contribute to better psychological well-being in this vulnerable group.
