Abstract

 The catalytic performance of Mn (NO3) 2.4H2O as an environmental friendly and mild catalyst for one-pot and eco-friendly synthesis of HIGHLY SUBSTITUTED TETRAHYDROPYRIDINES via fivecomponent reaction of amine derivatives, b-ketoester, and aldehyde derivatives have studied. The present methodology has numerous benefits such as non-toxicity and being inexpensive. Besides available catalyst, ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLY CONDITIONS, easily separated catalyst, and high yields of products makes it more feasible.
