THE STUDY OF THE VOCATIONAL INTERMEDIATE CURRICULUM ROLE IN CAREER EMPOWERMENT OF STUDENTS OF LOW INTELLIGENCE

Abstract

 The aim of the content study is to examine the vocational intermediate curriculum role in CAREER empowerment of students of low intelligence. The statistical population included all administrative experts in exceptional education department curriculum, professionals of VOCATIONAL INTERMEDIATE LEVEL and teachers of the province (intermediate students of low-intelligence from whom 40, 80 and 93. students were selected as a statistical sample in simple random based on Cochran’s Formula. The study tools was researcher made questionnaire. The reliability was calculated on the basis of Crobach’s Alpha (=0.95) and validity was confirmed according to experienced teachers. Findings showed that contrary to administrative experts and curriculum expertise opinion, teachers who maintain the vocational curriculum of intermediate level has contributed less than expected to general experiences and skills, VOCATIONAL INTERMEDIATE LEVEL students’ CAREER interests and PREFERENCES could not lead to graduates self- sufficiency as well as poor efficiency of the methods for above-mentioned students.
