Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the quality of work- life (QWL) and BURNOUT among guidance and high school TEACHERS in MESHKINSHAHR. Statistical population of the study was 1378 people. According to Morgan – kerjcie table the sample size was 302 people. The method of sampling was stratified random sampling. Collected tools included two questionnaires with reliability coefficient (0.92) for the quality of work- life and reliability coefficient (0.86) for BURNOUT. To analyze data Pearson's correlation coefficient and gradual multi- variable regression was. The results showed that there was a meaningful relationship between the quality of TEACHERS' work- life and their BURNOUT level. According to negative correlation coefficient (-0.24) this relation was a reverse and indirect relation. Among the components of the quality of work- life, the components of fields of education and continuous opportunities, job design and work climate the Alpha level have at 0.01 there was a meaningful and indirect relation with BURNOUT. The component of job design alone predicted of BURNOUT changes.
