Abstract

The year after census in all countries is called "Golden rush". In these years demographers and other social scientists begin to process and analyse data of census and use them in socio- economic planning. In population estimation, first we must evaluate the precision and accuracy of census statistics, because the other population estimation generally based upon these statistics. Whatever when evaluating statistics we observe mistakes in them, we must before using them, correct these mistakes. The necessity of evaluation 1385 (2006) census report of IRAN, bring forth this article. Here, the study evaluates the census data by AGE AND SEX INDICES, including WHIPPLE INDEX, MAYERS INDEX, and Joint score Index of the United Nation and finally the study compares them with other Iranian census before and after revolution.
