Abstract

Background and objectives: One of the problems of the country is the growing trend of social damages and their diversification; a problem that further increase can undermine effective SOCIAL SECURITY and disrupt social order. Since the appropriate SOCIAL POLICY-MAKING can be effective in this regard, the purpose of this study is to examine the social policies of the country in six DEVELOPMENT PLANs after the Islamic Revolution.Methodology: The research is a qualitative, applied-developmental and descriptive research that has been carried out according to the subject and its nature in the form of documentary and library studies. In this content analysis study, all communicated general policy of economic and social DEVELOPMENT PLANs of the country after the Islamic Revolution of Iran and the rules of the laws of six DEVELOPMENT PLANs have been reviewed.Findings and results: Findings of the research show that in the fourth and sixth DEVELOPMENT PLANs, the issue of SOCIAL HARM has been considered more than the rest of the programs. The first, second and fifth programs have had the least attention to this area. Little and at times unsuitable attention for social damage in macro policies of the country has caused the country to fail to take effective measures in a timely manner and use existing capacities to control and reduce SOCIAL HARM. Of course, the sixth program has provided a good opportunity.
