Abstract

This study has been applied in connection with establishment of social order and discipline and focus on violent behavior of youths. The main approach of this study is social order perspective, for this purpose the effect of some important social software variables means moral norms including fairness and honesty, on the youths’ VIOLENCE has been examined. Hence, the most important aspects of youths’ VIOLENCE referred to as street VIOLENCE including street fight, cold weapon carry and use, as well as school VIOLENCE including verbal conflict and physical conflict to the teacher were analyzed. According to the nature of subject, multiple case study method has been used and applied in one of western regions of Tehran Province in winter 2012. Due to the prevalence of violent behavior among the young boys, the samples have been selected out of three boys’ high school. The findings of study indicate that the VIOLENCE variation among the samples is significant whether as regard to the high school type or the field. Also, the essential role of moral and educational norms in reduction of youths’ VIOLENCE may be observed in the capability of youths’ VIOLENCE variability by regression equations (R2street VIOLENCE = 0.56 and R2school VIOLENCE = 0.65). The summary shows that comparing to the family, the effect of school as the most important educational center is highlighted in the moral norms strengthening as well as occurring and preventing the youths’ VIOLENCE. In this study, it is observed that the appropriate educational activities of school not only affect the moral environment and prevention of violent behaviors in the school, but in this context has more effect on the external environment means the society.
