Abstract

Due to CRIME committing, various material and intellectual injuries are sustained to the life, property, honor, prestige, spirit and mentality of the victims of CRIME and their acquaintances. Responding mode of governmental authorities to the victims may be effective on reduce of their injuries. The role of POLICE as the first institution that the victims approach thereto is considerable and salient for reduce of injuries and LOSSes and supplying their needs and demands. The main purpose of this study is recognition and specification of legal needs and demands of the victims of POLICE.Methodology: This study as respect to the research type is documental that the researcher has used library resources and existing internal and external documents for compilation of the data. Content analysis technique has been applied for analyzing the documents and has interviewed. Statistical society is consisted of victims of different CRIMEs in POLICE stations and investigation POLICE departments and professors of disciplinary sciences university and POLICE stations’ chiefs that from among them 62 persons were analyzed through simple random method. The data of this research are compiled via observation and interview.Findings: the findings of this research indicate that the right of quick and easy accessing to POLICE, the right of accessing female POLICE for victim women, good behavior and kindness of POLICE with the CRIME VICTIMs, emotional and psychological support and finally CRIME detection, identification and arresting accused persons, and accurate and exact performing the initial investigations by the POLICE are the other rights and requirements and demands of the CRIME VICTIMs of POLICE which should be considered by POLICE and secure.Results: The results of this research indicate that the most demands of the CRIME VICTIMs of POLICE including respecting victim, rapidity for dealing with the victim’s proceeding, precision in applying searches and forming file, supporting victim’s rights, quick presence of POLICE in the CRIME scene, easy accessing to POLICE, identifying and arresting the accused person and securing the victim’s safety.
