Abstract

A healthy organization is where people love the work and are proud to be part of that organization. It is expected that the Organizational commitment to be more in healthy organizations. This study investigated the relationship between Organizational Health and Organizational commitment of Second High School Teachers of Zahedan in the academic years 2014-2015. This study is a descriptive-correlation and among of 1038 second high school teacher, 281 highs choll teacher in Zahedan were selected by Simple Random Sampling model. For collecting data, the Hoy & Feldman's Organizational Health (1997), and Linz's cOrganizational commitment (2003) questionnaires were used. The data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and Regression analysis through Spss21 software. The finding showed that all components of Organizational Health (principal influence, support resources, academic emphasis and morale, horalick, consideration and initiating structure) have positive and significant relationship with Organizational commitment. Multiple regression findings showed that all components of Organizational Health except initiating structure and support resources can explain and predict teachers’ Organizational commitment. According to the findings, Managers can plan and implement appropriate strategies to promote components of quality of work life of teachers to provide efficient services. Basded to findins Organizational Health can make teachers feel more loyal to their school and take steps towards achieving organizational goals.
