Abstract

Even though WOMEN play significant role on affairs, but due to unilateral role and effect presumed and assigned by the MYTHs and EPICS approach to men on the events; it is necessary to deeply look on the issue. The woman has particular position in the MYTH and whom to be admired and prayed as goddess in many cases. Obedience of such WOMEN was an obligatory; where in some occasions caused significant and influential event on the rules and nations. The paper reviewed the role of woman in MYTHs and EPICS and Iranian and Greek MYTHical and epic WOMEN were compared. While the influence of woman in MYTHs was studied it was concluded that the woman in Iranian EPICS in contrary to the assessment done in the western EPICS were highly esteemed and was faithful to the ethno-nobility.
