Abstract

The aim of this research was to study the role of couple personality similarity and emotional maturity in satisfaction. For this end, 150 couples (300 individuals) who referred to Karaj counseling centers were chosen with available sampling procedure. To gather data, five factor personality, DIFFERENTIATION of self, and Enrich MARITAL SATISFACTION questionnaires were used. The results indicated that the couples who had similar PERSONALITY TRAITS were satisfied more than couples who had different PERSONALITY TRAITS. Differentiated couples were more satisfied than undifferentiated couples.
