Abstract

Pray and praying is one of the main religious indications in Islam which has important functions including prevention from obscene and wrong doing, purification and spiritual health, reducing social abnormalities etc. Islamic Azad University as a higher education institute having the suffix “Islamic” should be ahead and a pattern in cultural issues for all other institutes in the country. This research, in addition to finding the root and causes of students’ tendency toward praying, tried to give solutions to university authorities. To collect data, a researcher-made questionnaire was administered to 174 students. The research type was survey method using SPSS.
