Abstract

The necessity of study and examination of LAW VIOLATION as a social problem has always been discussed by researchers and experts. The LAW VIOLATION interrelationship with other variables that can fast or slow this procedure is so important, and among them is SOCIAL CAPITAL that can have an interrelationship with LAW VIOLATION. The main goal of this research was to study SOCIAL CAPITAL interrelationship with LAW VIOLATION. This research was done by measurement method using questionnaires made from standard questions (Batt, Rezaee, Mobaraki and Chalabi) to collect data. The study population included all governmental personnel of Khoramabad and the sample consisted 364 cases. Data were analyzed by Pearson method, one variable and several variable regression test. Findings showed that LAW VIOLATION had a significant negative relationship with SOCIAL CAPITAL. It had a significant positive relationship with INFORMAL SOCIAL CONTROL and ANOMIE FEELING in governmental personnel (p<0.05). Due to the effects of SOCIAL CAPITAL variable on LAW VIOLATION, it can be recommended that authorities should plan programs in order to promote people's perception of SOCIAL CAPITAL from different social sources.
