Abstract

This research was aimed to study gifted girls’ CREATIVITY in TALENTED-STUDENTS, NON-PROFIT AND PUBLIC SCHOOLS. For this purpose, 166 girls from the three types of school in Tehran in 2009-2010 scholastic year were selected through cluster sampling method. These participants completed Reiven Progressive Matrix for measuring IQ and Torrance Test of CREATIVITY Thinking (B Figural Form). Data analysis was based on ANOVA. The results showed that there was a significant difference concerning CREATIVITY among the three types of school. Findings, also, indicated that gifted girl students in TALENTED-STUDENTS schools were significantly superior in CREATIVITY and some of its variables than students in NON-PROFIT AND PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
