Abstract

Farrokhi is a constitutional poet who contributed to the awakening of the people and the development of the society with his poems. His poems contain new concepts and novel themes that have destroyed the obsolete and obliterated system of values. FREEDOM is a concept that FARROKHI has focused on and has called "Shahed-e-Ziba" whom he is ready to give his life to get to.In fact, FARROKHI is a complete liberal and believes that the improvement and prosperity of the society depends on it. Because of his strong love for his country, he encourages all the people to be ready to sacrifice their lives to achieve it. He wants to be free from all those who oppose the establishment of FREEDOM. In his poems, he speaks of the social and political instances of FREEDOM, such as FREEDOM of speech, FREEDOM of the press, etc. and regards them essential and necessary for democracy in the society: To achieve it, he frights DESPOTISM, reactionary policies and capitalist COLONIALISM. This research tries to explicate the dimensions of the poet's liberalism ad his ideas about FREEDOM.
