Abstract

The SOFT POWER play a potential role in boosting country's SOCIAL CAPITAL. The main question is that what is the SOCIAL CAPITAL effect in the SOFT POWER. The research method has been survey method and the statistical sample consisted 177 professors from Iran`s Army universities. The data were collected through a structured questionnaire and using SPSS for analyzing. For evaluating the reliability of the questionnaire we used Cronbach's alpha and for the validity used the factitious validity. The correlation between independent variables and the dependent variable was analyzed by using Pearson' s test. For assess the empirical model we used multiple regression analysis.The results of this study show that there are the meaningful relationship between the SOCIAL CAPITAL and SOFT POWER, so that a correlation between social TRUST and SOFT POWER is (0.21), social norms and SOFT POWER (0.27) and community involvement to the degree of SOFT POWER (0.53). The results of regression analysis show that all of the components regression coefficients are positive and there are a positive relationship between SOCIAL CAPITAL components and SOFT POWER aspects.
