Abstract

The importance of the MUSIC as a tool for maintenance and improving the health as well as treating some diseases, has mentioned or discussed by details in the literature of IRANIAN TRADITIONAL MEDICINE. The aim of this article is introducing this issue and presenting some traditional physician’s opinions about it, as well as explaining the recommendations of Abu-zeide Balkhi titleing: ”the policies to use MUSIC”, and paying attention to his subtle approach in expressing the important and wonderful effect of sounds and MUSIC on human physical and mental health.
