Abstract

In this study, the relationship between the opportunity cost of cash and FINANCIAL FLEXIBILITY of the company's PERFORMANCE. In this study, 102 participated companies listed in Tehran Stock Exchange was examined. The method is based on the assumptions of the test panel. For the purpose of investigating the correlation method is applied. According to the first hypothesis the relationship between the opportunity cost of funds and PERFORMANCE was tested. The results showed that the relationship between firm PERFORMANCE and opportunity costs of cash is direct. In other words, with increasing (improvement) the firm PERFORMANCE, the opportunity cost of cash is added. According to the second hypothesis, the relationship between FINANCIAL FLEXIBILITY and PERFORMANCE was tested. The results showed that the relationship between FINANCIAL FLEXIBILITY and firm PERFORMANCE is a direct relationship. In other words, with increasing (improvement) of the company's FINANCIAL FLEXIBILITY the firm PERFORMANCE is added.
