Abstract

SPIRITUALITY is a very widespread concept that everyone with personal beliefs and values has a different interpretation from others. Some believe that SPIRITUALITY has rooted in religion, but others believe that SPIRITUALITY has no relation with formal religion and is very widespread than it. This problem overshadowed the measure of SPIRITUALITY and is added the problems of measuring SPIRITUALITY. However, SPIRITUALITY management in the workplaces in the first place requires having operational definition and standard tool for measuring it. With respect to Highlighting the role of SPIRITUALITY in the success and failure of organizations in recent years and emphasizes of country top managers to strengthen SPIRITUALITY in public workplace, in this paper, the important works that has been done for measuring SPIRITUALITY and its problems faced has been reviewed, and will try to providing a standard tool based on country religious and cultural values for measuring SPIRITUALITY in public organizational contexts.
