Abstract

Introduction and purpose research: LEISURE as a phenomenon and even sometimes in some communities as a matter of cultural, social, and even political common thread between all segments of society. Because of the importance of LEISURE time and attributes that have attracted the attention of some of them. LEISURE is affected by various issues, one of which is virtual SOCIAL NETWORKS. and With the same aim of the present study to investigate the relationship between virtual SOCIAL NETWORKS and LEISURE activities.Research Method: The research study was The survey carried out among kashan university students. The sample size based on the sample of 415 selected using stratified sampling data have been collected.Results: The results show that variables such as membership in virtual SOCIAL NETWORKS, the number of friends on virtual SOCIAL NETWORKS and the use of virtual SOCIAL NETWORKS (chat, likes and comments and recreation) have a significant relationship with LEISURE activities. Also among the background variables, gender and economic status have a meaningful relationship with their LEISURE time.Conclusion: In total, according to the findings of this study can be said that virtual SOCIAL NETWORKS play an important role in LEISURE time users.
