Abstract

Introduction: The role of MEDIA as an influencing instrument in public opinion and CULTURE of communities in promoting goals of cultural DIPLOMACY cannot ignore; thus the aim of this study was to "Identify of the place and role of MEDIA in cultural DIPLOMACY".Method: This study was descriptive-survey study. For gathering data questionnaire was designed and filled out by 40 Professor of Science and Research Branch, Islamic Azad University. Reliability of the questionnaire was computed as 0.93 using Cronbach-alpha test.Results: MEDIA has been important role in cultural DIPLOMACY and also in cultural exchange, cultural diffusion and acculturation as indices of cultural DIPLOMACY.Conclusion: MEDIA has been role in explain and promote the cultural values in other countries, in development of international cultural relations and in providing context and background to study the customs and traditions of CULTUREs.
