Abstract

Hafez Shirazi has so combined the delicate interpretations and mystic expressions with the Quran and hadith implications and the artful images of Persian language that his poems are now far beyond belief. Therefore, along centuries, everyone with any kind of belief and viewpoint, seeks his pains and needs in Hafez’s ghazals. Among many commentator, the followers of mysticism and the forward movement on the path have more contribution in introducing the delicacy of Hafiz’s poems than others. One of these followers is Shah Mohammed Darabi (1130 A. D.) who explains some of Hafez’s couplets in “Sharh-e Ghavamez” or “The Inerpretation of Difficulties” in response to his diciples’doubts.Although Shah Mohammed Darabi has invaluable status in mysticism, however, there are insuffcient information about his life. He had five major works and fifty couplets in mysticism and etiquette. The treatise “Meraj Al-Kamal” contains the meaning of Shiekh, guidance, and diciple. “Latayef Al-Khiyal” describes about the past and recent poets. “Maghamat Al-Salekin” is about musical expressions and Muslim thinkers’ opinions about morality and immorality of music. “Riaz Al-Arefin Fi Sharhe Sahife Seyed Al-Sajedin” is a delicate interpretation about Emam Sajad’s Sahife Sajadiye. His most important and mystic work is called “Latifeh Gheibi” which is a mystical explanation about the difficulty and complexity of Hafez’s poems.
