Abstract

With the advent of MODERNISM in Iran, Iranian researchers endeavored to find some answers for Iranian trend and closure to the achievement and modern attempts. Sometimes this phenomenon is studied from the sociology view point which is done sometimes through the political wittings or Ideological perspective and religious credos. This issue rarely studied from philosophical view point. In the article we aimed at reviewing this issue from Dariush Shayegan’s view point. Shayegan endeavored to separate the philosophy of west form Asian civilization. To him, Asian mystical beliefs are based on pieties and inspiration. But western philosophy related to secularism, materialism and all the realm of sciences.
