Abstract

on the basis of Shi’as and political teachings of the Theory of velayat-e faqih; commitment to Indicators such as political participation, Election, Circulation of elites and the separation of powers, Iran has presented its own pattern of political DEVELOPMENT by emphasizing on values such as Islamic democracy, preserving Islamic culture and politics, distribution of directed power, and a new relationship between people and government. This article tends to analyse theoretical foundations of political DEVELOPMENT in Iran by applying the guidelines of Ayatollah Khamenei. It tries to answer the following questions: what are the theoretical foundations of political DEVELOPMENT in Iran? What pattern has it presented, through the negation of capitalist and socialist modes of DEVELOPMENT that has produced continued Political stability even after three decades?
