Abstract

Aspects of resistance have indeed been a major literary theme in the Occupied Lands of Palestine. LITERATURE OF RESISTANCE as a pivotal front for revolutionary nations against military, political and cultural onslaughts has undergone more growth in Palestine than any other countries or lands.Rashid Hussein is appreciated as one of the greatest poets in resistance literature in the occupied lands of Palestine who strives to employ the weapon of pen in revealing the true nature of the Zionist regime. His onthology is largely themed with call to resistance, depiction of injustice, appreciation of freedom, bright future of victory, reflection of Palestinian innocence and Palestinian sacrifice in the path of freedom and, finally, homage to the martyrs of this path.He found it inevitable to return to homeland in his works, noting that life must continue in the holy land of Palestine.The role of the prominent national-Islamic personality then deserves further deliberation, especially his significant role in Palestinian resistance’s literature.
