Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to bring together various positive and negative consequences that portray girls’ presence in Mobile Social Networks. The models evolved from a phenomenological study and semi-structured deep interviews with 40 girls living in Isfahan using at least two social media. To sketch out the models, frstly we determined the factors and elements that portray the complex consequences inﬂ uencing girls’ presence in Mobile Social Networks. To fully delimit and defne these consequences, we put into force three stages of coding and classifcation. In this way, we established the positive consequences that we should try to strengthen them and negative consequences jeopardizing individual, family and social Security of teenagers and we should try to remove them. This research reaches this conclusion that new media and their modern technologies are incorporated with import of Culture. To solve the problems, Media Literacy, teaching the proper Culture and scientifc and practical planning to reduce negative individual and social inﬂ uences and to increase Security are necessary.
