Title

A STUDY OF THE COMPATIBILITY BETWEEN CLIMATE FACTORS AND CIRCULATION SYSTEM IN URMIA CITY

Abstract

 This article is an attempt to inspect the compatibility between CLIMATE factors and circulation system in URMIA CITY. The importance of this subject is due to the fact that not only environmental and CLIMATE factors can mitigate the social, economic, and living problems but also they play important role in the path of sustainable development in a city. In addition to sightseeing and field studies, this research utilizes the information obtained from the Meteorological Organization through applying the Olgey method. Analysis of the data on existing site indicates that in URMIA CITY except three months of May, June, and September, in other months, the productivity of solar energy and provision of shade in making safety is invariable. At nights also except four months of May, June, July, and August, in all other months, there is the existence of a cold bioclimatic condition control. The adjustment of results on the relationship between CLIMATE factors and communication system of the study area, it has become clear that fabric (organic) texture of the city has developed in relation with the region's CLIMATE, but this fact has ignored in the newly built texture because of exceeding and imbalanced development. Therefore, under these conditions to mitigate existing problems, it is necessary that the urban texture should be compact and the design of the STREETs should be in the north to south directions added to this the environmental and CLIMATE consideration in development of new urban spaces.
