Abstract

This study presents practical solutions to increase the efficiency of Tehran internal road commodity transportation companies with the aim of recognizing effective elements. To reach this goal, the effective factors were identified by DELPHI TECHNIQUEs, and transportation experts were polled about these factors. According to the collected information, the sample groups were extended to a research statistical society which involves Tehran internal road commodity transportation managers. The results show that the most important factors are the company’s INTERNAL ENVIRONMENT and OPERATIONAL ENVIRONMENT. Customer satisfaction is obtained through on-time product loading and delivery, legal support of the union, association of transport companies with the required time, representation in union, and honesty of union.
