Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of systemic-constructivist couple therapy on Marital satisfaction in women with breast cancer. The sample consisted of 30 women with breast cancer who referred to Imam Hussein hospital in Tehran in 2016. They were selected by convenience sampling method, and divided randomly in experimental and control groups. Control group didn’ t receive any treatment intervention. The research design was semi-experimental design with pre-test-post-test, containing control group. Research instrument was "Enrich Marital satisfaction Scale". Data were entered in to SPSS software and analyzed by Analysis of Variance method. The results of ANOVA analysis showed that: training of systemic-constructivism couple therapy was significantly effective on the Marital satisfaction in women with breast cancer (P < 0/01). According to this finding: systemic constructivism couple therapy is effective on the enhancement of Marital satisfaction in women with breast cancer.
