Abstract

 This research intended to evaluate the effectiveness of vocational empowerment on the reduction of work-family mutual conflicts and burnout syndrome based on the growth theory and multi-axial pattern in working and married female students of higher education in Islamic Azad University, Shabestar branch. Research method was post-test/pre-test Quasiexperimental with two experiment groups. Statistical population included all working and married Female students, from which 40 were selected through convenient sampling method. They were then randomized and put into two experimental groups each with 20 members. Measurement tools included Carlson word-family conflict questioner and Maslach Burnout Inventory. Results of the analysis showed that there was not a significant difference between the effectiveness of career empowerment program based on the model of multi-axis pattern and super growth theory on the reduction of mutual work-family conflict and reducing emotional burnout and increasing the individual performance of the female students (P>0/05). Consequently, work-family conflicts and vocational burnout are one of the major familial and organizational problems. Thus, empowerment plans such as vocational empowerment plans are required more than ever.
