Abstract

The most significant factor in the development of the societies is the existence of specialists. The universities as one of the most important organizations in training and educating specialists should realize the interests and motivations of the students and should increase their capability and their organizations' effectiveness through planning and improving the process of education and research. Study of the student's motivation and EDUCATIONAL INTEREST can lead to the awareness of the scholars engaged in the task of planning and the managers of ISLAMIC AZAD UNIVERSITY and consequently improves the process of education and curriculum development which results on the specialist's promotion as well. This survey was carried out by random selection of 221 female students in ISLAMIC AZAD UNIVERSITY of Tabriz Branch. A questionnaire consisting of the scale of measuring EDUCATIONAL INTEREST and some independent variables which can culturally, socially and psychologically affect the students was developed. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the female students reveal more educational willingness and interest than of those male ones. The older students show less interest compared to the younger students. Those students interested in continuing their studies educationally are more enthusiastic. The satisfaction of educational quality can increase EDUCATIONAL INTEREST.
