Abstract

The current article intends to identify and present frameworks on how to tackle CHALLENGES AND PROBLEMS CYBERSPACE JOURNALISTS are facing in their workplace. CYBER JOURNALISM can be regarded as the most obvious transformation of means of communication in the beginning of the third millennium which has created heated debates and rivalry with traditional media.The current research has tried to present cyberspace journalist with practical steps to overcome the difficulties and challenges they face. Interaction between local and international audience, improving the content and developing the management structure are among those solutions. In today’s world, it is essential to move towards the cyberspace journalism, but this type of journalism requires its own structure and circumstances.The statistical society of this research includes cyber journalists who have been working as part of an online publication for more than a year. The sample was acquired through census method. The questionnaires were filled in by 63 cyber journalists and the data was later analyzed descriptively and inferentially by SPSS. Results tell us CYBER JOURNALISM is suffering from both software and hardware shortages as well as weaknesses at the managerial levels. Besides, CYBER JOURNALISM has not yet been institutionalized.ive hypothesis of the current study were confirmed and two others were rejected. Up to date on-the-job training courses to cyber journalists, courses on media management and policy making and any type of technical education to the managers have been presented as solutions to improve CYBER JOURNALISM. Establishing a school of CYBER JOURNALISM is also highly advised.
