Abstract

he purpose of this research was to know ATTACHMENT TO GOD as a mediator of PERCEIVED CHILDHOOD ATTACHMENT.to each parent (secure and insecure) and the components of anger. 350 student from Azad university in Kashmar completed measures of perceived attachment to parents (Hazan & Shaver’s 1989), ATTACHMENT TO GOD (Rowatt & Krik Patriik’s, 2002) and ANGER CONTROL (Spielberger’s, 1999) with the cluster sampling method. To analysis the results, factorial of variance and the structural equation modeling techniques were used. Results showed that ATTACHMENT TO GOD, especially ambivalent attachment completely mediate the relationship between insecure attachment to each parent (especially insecure father) and anger components (especially anger temperature). In other word, attachment to parents didn’t show direct role in controlling anger which suggests the importance of spirituality and emotional connection with God.
