Abstract

This research has been done to constructing a valid instrument to evaluate of QUALITY OF LIFE, and also an explanation of relationship between QUALITY OF LIFE and SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING. 500 teachers from different sector of Tehran city systematic randomly completed the QUALITY OF LIFE questionnaire and SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING scale. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between sub-scales of QUALITY OF LIFE (life equipment's, physical health, life meaning) with LIFE SATISFACTION as a sub-scale of SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING, but not with SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING. Have a good QUALITY OF LIFE is not mean as a good SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING, because a good quality of live can produce a LIFE SATISFACTION of life, but not to produce a good SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING.
