Abstract

Presidential elections of 2009 in Iran marked a new chapter of socio-political changes after three decades past Islamic revolution which make it is necessary for Iranian society to analyze its different aspects. The main focus of this article is to investigate of governing principles of SUPREME LEADER'S MANAGEMENT STYLE in controlling and harnessing events prior to and following the elections and people's role in this management process. Our hypothesis is that resolving the crises built at that time period could not be resolved without leadership (based on religion, INTELLECTUALITY and law) and the welayat-oriented society which is the main asset of the system. Applying a method based on religion, INTELLECTUALITY and FOLLOWING LAW in preceding and succeeding phases using preemptive and resolving methods, the supreme leader handled this crisis. The SUPREME LEADER'S MANAGEMENT STYLE can be considered as a comprehensive, dynamic and flexible style which enjoys various characteristics in political management domain.
