Abstract

The main goal of this research is, to reflect of women social position in the movies of males and females directors.The neccessity of doing this work is by eliminating of patriarchy culture from the society.iiIn this research these theories has been used; Feminism Theories, Agenda-setting and Reflection of Reality.This work has been done by content analysis and coding techniques.The population (statistic society) of this research contains of 2 films; Transit Café by Kambozia Partoee and Under City Skin by Rakhshan Banietemad.The unit of the research is scene and it has been coded by census of 202 scenes.The validity of the research is external validity and the reliability is calculated by Scott’s coefficient and it equals 0.93 percent.This research has 16 variables.The most important results of this work are as follows:Both directors show that women are aware of current unequality and when they go into the public arena, they would like to change their social position.Male director illustrates that women are tougher and more resistant about current position, in compare with female director.Female director shows that women are more trustable in compare with male’s one.Both directors, I mean male and female, illustrate that women are more responsible and independent.
