Abstract

Nowadays destiny of any country is linked to its cultural occurrences inside and outside the country. Countries or in other words, state-nations in our transitive world are dealing with lots of problems and through this way cultural occurrences inevitably influence them. But a large part of these occurrences are predictable. So state-nations can control and manage these occurrences.This paper tries to survey about the role of NATIONAL TELEVISION in the DEVELOPMENT OF INTER-cultural relations among IRANIAN NATIONs. The selected method of research in regard of the target is functional and in regard of information assemblage is quantitative. The method is applied in a correlation manner. The selected statistical population for the survey is all the professors of media and social relations in the faculty of IRIB. The number of professors is 50 and all of them have answered the questions.The results showed that according to the present statistics the IRIB has provided a profitable space with programming cultural-social TV programs, religious series, cartoons, songs and sportive programs. In fact IRIB has tried to develop the inter-cultural relations among IRANIAN NATIONs. But sitcoms and nightly series were not successful enough in this manner.
