Abstract

The main objective of this research is to investigate the amount of TRUST in SMARTPHONE based SOCIAL NETWORKS in Tehran. In this research, 800 randomly selected researcher-made questionnaires were distributed among 15-45 year old Tehranian youths in five regions of north, south, east, west and center of Tehran. In the end, it was determined that TRUST is not related to age, education and place of residence of the users. TRUST in different genders and marital status was not significantly different.The other achievement was the measure of TRUST, which was characterized by an average of 2.98, moderate and upward levels of confidence. Micro-variable “design and ease of use” has the most effect and micro-variable “security of software” has the least effect on TRUST.
