Abstract

THEATRICAL PRESENTATION is accounted as one of the first artistic works of human being. its role and effect on the society and culture cannot be ignored. Different templates, forms and styles have been dealt with the THEATRICAL PRESENTATION along with the cultural and social changes throughout the history. The satiric and comic THEATRICAL PRESENTATION is accounted as one of the most prominent styles which has been more popular than other styles and it has been attracted many audiences. An important part of THEATRICAL PRESENTATION ׳s validity, especially the satiric ones, depends on audience attending; therefore the reasons and motives of audience attending will be the most important issue which should be considered. Accordingly, the research considers the audience of satiric THEATRICAL PRESENTATION in theaters of Tehran through the qualitative perspective and tries to interpret and validate the reasons and motives of the audience attending through field data, interview with the audience, participant observation and use of theories. Finally, the reasons and motives of the audience attending explained in the following five main structures and components including accompanying the friends and relatives, entertainment, relaxation, being against the current culture and specialized utilizing.
