Abstract

Introduction: This study examined sensation seeking as a mediator between willingness to social networks and attachment style with family cohesion among marriage women. Methods and Materials: A descriptive correlational study design was used. The study population included all marriage women of Neyshabour Azad University. 200 individuals were selected by available and voluntary sampling. In order to obtain data, question form Zuckerman sensation seeking (1999), Hazan and Shaver Adult Attachment Scale (1987), Salimi use of social networks (2014) and Samani family cohesion questionnaire (2002) were used. The data were analyzed through correlation and path analysis using the SPSS and AMOS. Results: Results showed that sensation seeking satisfaction play a significant mediating role in the relationship between willingness to social networks and attachment style with family cohesion and so, willingness to social networks and attachment style have significant correlation with family cohesion (P<0/05(. Conclusion: Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that the relationship between the willingness to social networks and attachment style to family cohesion in married women is not a simple linear relationship, and sensation seeking can mediate this relationship.
