Abstract

 Kermanshah province is one of the areas which was destroyed during the war and has not been developed well after the war. One of the potentials of this city is in the area of TOURISM. The province has a lot of potentials like historical, natural, religious, and humanistic areas. These potentials can be positively used in TOURISM development. Taq- e- bostan which is a natural place is located in the southern part of the Taqbostan Mountain. The services provided by this area are mostly financial which are hard to satisfy. The reason is that the area does not have any financial income but it possesses some advantages like increasing life quality and recreation opportunities. In the present study, this area as a tourist center has been analyzed and the cost of travelling to this area has been estimated. The results showed that variables such as age, literacy, and income level of the participants have a significant effect on the rate of visiting this area. The analysis of the income level of the tourists showed that there is a significant correlation between their income levels and the number of visiting day of the area. The obtained results were like those of the United States parks. The results showed that education level of the visitors also had a significant role in tourist attraction in the area as most of them were literate and educated people. Education highly correlates with income level as there is a significant correlation between education and the desire of visiting interesting sights. Some studies showed that the tourist centers were more attracted by teenagers and young people, however, this study confirmed that 48% of the visitors to the park were between the ages of 20 to 35. The income obtained from visiting TAQ- BOSTAN PARK was estimated to be 78704248 tomans. Totally, the obtained results indicate the need for more attention towards TOURISM development and developing parks as efficient means of planning and developmental management.
