Abstract

ANEURYSMAL BONE CYST (A.B.C.) is a rare lesion of the jaws which is classified as a pseudo cyst. The etiology and pathogenesis have yet to be elucidated. Treatment of this benign lesion requires surgical curettage with regular post-operative follow up. In this article, a case of neurysmal bone cyst is reported in the maxillary anterior region of a seven-year-old boy who was refferred to the dept. of peadodontics, Shahid Beheshti Dental School, Tehran for a history of a large swelling on his face. Clinical, surgical and histological findings are presented associated with its treatment proceduces.
