Abstract

INTEGRATED TRANSPORTATION is one on sustainable transport strategies which aim to reduce inconsistency in transportation management. In this approach there are three main objects: completing and intensification the effects of sectional actions, providing financial support for transport services, and making public admission for sustainable transportation policies. The goal of this paper is introducing concept and benefits of integrated transport and presenting the map road for implementing INTEGRATED TRANSPORTATION in metropolitans like TEHRAN. So, first definition and benefits of INTEGRATED TRANSPORTATION has been presented, and second, requirement measures for it has been introduced .Descriptive-analytical method is used as research method and questionary has been used as research tool. We asked from 20 specialist in urban transportation to determine potential of implementing each action in TEHRAN based on Likert scale. Although the OPPORTUNITIES AND TREATS for performance have been stated. The results show that the action of integration between different public modes has the most potential for implementing in TEHRAN. On the other hand, there are many challenges in management and organizational integration. In the final table the most important OPPORTUNITIES AND TREATS for accomplishment of each action has been introduced.
