Abstract

Raj`at is one of Shiite religious teachings; yet, the people of Sunnah have disagreed it. Shiite thinkers have presented various proofs of Quranic verses, traditions, consensus and reason for possibility of Raj`at. In addition, historical events of the pasts may be regarded as another kind of evidence in this field. Among narrative proofs, some verses have taught it to be at the end of history. For Shiites, the most considerable verse of teaching is 83 of Naml well-known for Quranic scholars as the proof for Raj`at at the end of history, Akhir uz-Zaman. On the contrary, however, Sunni commentators have refuted Shiite view. The paper has studied Fariqain`s views deeply and criticized that of Sunni scholars.
