Abstract

Happiness in a workplace promotes a good attitude toward organizations, leading to higher efficiency and achievement of goals. It is an utmost benefit that an organization can gain. This research aimed to investigate the effect of involvement in decision making on a happy organization with a mediator variable of organizational confidence. The components of a happy organization were identified by a separate research using Delphi technique. The methodology of this research is survey one administrated by a standard questionnaire. The validity of tool was determined by using experts view and factor analysis and the reliability determined by Cronbach alpha. The population was consisted of the whole stuff employed in Payam-e-Noor University (PNU) who were selected through random stratified sampling. The data was analyzed by SPSS and LISREL software. The results showed that involvement in decision making has a positive and significant impact on happy organization mediated by organizational confidence both directly and indirectly.
