Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between SYMBOLIC CAPITAL and CITIZENSHIP rights. This is descriptive-correlational study and the research method is survey. Data collected by a questionnaire designed by the researcher. Population of the study consisted of fifteen years old people and older. The sample using Cochran formula is 387 people who were selected by systematic and stratified sampling.The results show that there is a relationship between SYMBOLIC CAPITAL and attitudes towards CITIZENSHIP, civil and SOCIAL RIGHTS. Also, there isn’t a relationship between SYMBOLIC CAPITAL and POLITICAL RIGHTS.
