Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the SOCIAL ALIENATION of high school TEACHERS in TABRIZ. Research method is survey and statistical population of male and female high school TEACHERS were 13247 in 1390-91 educational year. The proportional stratified sample was selected and Sample size of 373 was assessed using Cochran’s formula.Data collected using standard questionnaire of SOCIAL ALIENATION of Mlvynsymn and researcher-made questionnaire. In order to analyze data statistical methods of t and r Pearson are used. Results indicated that SOCIAL ALIENATION of 62.46 with the SD of 42.16 has been achieved in the medium. The results showed that SOCIAL ALIENATION based on marital status were significant the single TEACHERS were more alienated. Also the relationship between alienation and academic certificate and teaching precedence was significant. But SOCIAL ALIENATION based on the job situation was not significant.
