Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compare the MARITAL ADJUSTMENT of employed and UNEMPLOYED WOMEN and related factors of it in MAHABAD. The method of the study is survey. The population of this research is all employed and unemployed married women aged 15 to 64 years old in city of MAHABAD in 91-92 who are 46625 people. The Sample size using Cochran formula was 380 people and the samples were selected by multi-cluster sampling technique to systematic random sampling. Data were collected using a standardized questionnaire by Khodayarifard which its reliability coefficient estimated as 0.96using cronbach Alpha. In order to analyze data from two independent groups t-test was used. The main research hypothesis was confirmed with the amount of error of %5 and % 95 significancy levels. The results indicate that EMPLOYED WOMEN's MARITAL ADJUSTMENT is more than UNEMPLOYED WOMEN.
